It's been pretty long since I last thoroughly cleaned my room. (More on that later)
AND a very very long time since I last blogged.
Hmmm.
However, I would like to start off this post with my 2013 New Year resolutions and I've pretty much guessed you'd say: What?! Its been almost 2 weeks since New Year's day!
SO?????????
I've done a whole lot of planning and thought through which kinds of resolutions I really need to fulfill.
And since the world didn't end during 21st December 2012, so let's all treat this as a new chapter to our lives.
And probably hope the world doesn't end like anytime without any warning.
So here goes: (don't judge me)
1. Maintain the cleanliness of my room.
-My study desk
- My fat wardrobe
A clean and tidy room always welcomes you back with open arms after a long day.
Don't you think?
With that, I might be able to concentrate in studying better instead of being conscious
with the mess in my room.
( This isn't my room, I just got this image off Google.)
My room concept was based on this picture when I moved in to my new home in 2011.
And I shall blog more about this later on too.
(This isn't my wardrobe. Hehehe ^^ But I don't mind having this)
My dream to have a walk-in-closet.
2. Staying below 50 kg throughout this year.
I guess it is almost every girl's dream to be like slim/skinny/whatever.
But for me and at the height I am standing at, I should be at 50.
I must be like 60+++ now.
Just kidding.
But ultimately, I would like to have a more toned and healthy body,
Which means that I would need to have a daily exercise routine too.
3. Maintain a healthy diet and cut down on fried food.
I recently had this strange thinking in mind that I was feeling unhealthy.
Like my body feels like a 40 year old adult and I am only 17.
Last year I tried a strict vegetarian diet for quite a long time. Maybe 4~5 months I guess?
It felt really good but my body was failing silently due to the lack of proteins.Giddy spells and all.
So now, instead of a strict vegetarian diet, I shall cut down on fried food.
But maybe once in a while exceptions like McDonald's Filet-o-fish meal because that is all I ever eat there.
You can ask anyone. I'm so picky.
I might decide to provide exceptions for their hash-browns too because that's all I ever eat for breakfast sometimes. And also BFF's nacho cheese fries! Their potatoes are freshly cut everyday!
I don't even eat KFCs at all!
Originally I wanted to totally swear off fast food. But I realised that it is a bit impossible to because quite a lot of them food are all fried. *sigh*
4. Get above GPA 3.8-4.0 for the following semesters to come.
Reason for doing so is because it is super duper competitive in SP.
And the route from a polytechnic to a university would be quite tough for us as we are not the only one competing to get into a university.
We are also competing among our fellow JC graduates and scholars from other countries maybe.
So all I really have to do is put in double the effort and get myself good grades.
Sometimes I feel like I study for my parents instead of for myself. Poor thing.
加油!
5. Spending more time with my loved ones.
Be it my good friends, secondary school best friends and family.
I really need to think hard when was the last time I had "time" for them.
They were always there for me and I have to do something in return.
I guess this would be the best thing I can think of. Haha, I'm such a lousy person.
6. Get a good part time job that is near relevant to what I am studying now.
I've had part time jobs as retail associates before.
At Miss Sixty, Robinsons & Co. and lastly, Burberry.
I really thank the staff and my supervisors/boss/big boss/big big boss for the time I had there.
Although sometimes it might not be such a good experience but still it's the experience that you work for!
So, I decided that it would be good to go research on some institutes that might have good part time work for undergrad students and good internship programmes because....I will be up for ITP this coming June I think?
7. Sleeping at 10 p.m
I am sure that sleeping early is good. Because I heard that anytime from 11pm-2am is the period that your facial pores will open up the most.
And if you are asleep and your body is resting, the pores won't be so "active".
Coincidentally if you're still awake at that time, uh-oh, you're gonna get a bit of a facial problem.
Eye-bags, black heads and pimples/acnes.
So sleep early. Sleeping well is the most important thing!

I think that's all for my new year resolutions.
It's quite a lot and if IF I do have more, I'll definitely post it up here.
For you guys to get inspired by some of them maybe?
I'll be posting about my "weekend thorough room cleaning" day sometime later or else I might be boring you all out over a long post.
Stay tune folks!
